The reference 7147 draws direct inspiration from the 18th- and 19th-century masterpieces of Abraham-Louis Breguet. It features the signature fluted coin-edge case in 18k rose gold, measuring 40 mm in diameter and an impressively slim 6 mm in thickness — elegant, refined, and unmistakably Breguet.the case has a display case back fitted with a full view on the hand finished movement .
The dial is a showcase of traditional craftsmanship. It features a wider chapter ring for the hour numerals, broader-grain hobnail engine-turning at the centre, and a beautifully executed crosshatch guilloché on the seconds sub-dial set at a 45-degree angle — creating a truly striking visual effect.
In a historical nod to the brand’s fight against counterfeiting — a practice dating back to 1795 — the 7147 incorporates a discreet “secret signature” engraved on the dial near 12 o’clock. The dial is completed with Breguet’s iconic blued steel open-tipped hands, another enduring house signature.
Powering the watch is the ultra-thin automatic calibre 502.3 SD, derived from the renowned Frédéric Piguet calibre 71 architecture of the 1970s — a movement celebrated for its slim profile and reliability.
