Cartier Santos Galbée 187901 steel and gold

Santos with hidden message…

This is a steel and gold Cartier Santos Galbee. The original Santos is regarded as the watch that made steel and gold watches cool and mainstream and this example has all the hallmarks of a classic Cartier. The 29 x 41mm  case is in great condition.

The off-white dial has black painted Roman numerals with hidden signature in the VII marker. The blued hands are a great match with the blue cabochon topped crown.
The bracelet with signature golden screws is in great condition and will fit a wrist size up to 18.5cm. The quartz movement has been checked by our watchmaker and a new battery has been fitted.
