Jaeger le Coultre Master Control Memovox Silver Dial Ref 141.8.97

This is a beautiful and rare example of the iconic Memovox alarm watch by Jaeger Le Coultre. The word ‘Memovox’ was invented by Jaeger Le Coultre and is an amalgamation of two Latin words. Memor, which means remembering and Vox, which means voice. This example houses the updated automatic calibre 918 movement that was introduced by JLC in 1994.

The steel case measures 38.5mm and is in really great condition and has its two original JLC-signed crowns. An interesting point to note is that the case back has the relevant watchmakers name and date of manufacture hand engraved inside. The soleil-finish silver dial is in beautiful original condition with yellow coloured tritium lume dots , awesome !The dial has applied Arabi quarters and there is a date window at three. This Memovox comes on the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap with steel JLC pin buckle and has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
