When one crown isn’t enough…
This is a big and bold 42mm steel super compressor cased dive watch. The watch features two crowns, one for winding the movement and the other for rotating the inner 24-hour bezel. The super compressor system became more waterproof the greater the pressure on the case (ie when diving deeper in the water).
The watch houses a lovely and original gilt dial, produced using the same galvanic technique as Rolex sports watches from the 1960s. The dial is in superb condition with cool Arabic quarters and hands that are a nice match. The watch is accompanied by a Longines archive extract confirming the watch was sold in Italy in 1966 and comes on the pictured white Tropic style strap. The movement has beenservice by our watchmaker.
