This reference 3802 was introduced in 1983 as a self-winding Calatrava with a date function—a departure from the collection’s traditionally time-only models—and it quickly became a staple of the Patek Philippe lineup, achieving iconic status alongside the manual-wind reference 3919.

 

This 3802J (the J denoting Jaune, French for yellow, thus yellow gold) features a 33 mm case with the iconic clous-de-Paris (hobnail) texture.

 

The dial presents the classic Calatrava white background with black Roman numerals, central seconds, and a date function at 3 o’clock. Powered by the renowned automatic calibre 315 S C with its 22k gold rotor, the watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

 

This fine Clous has been fitted with one of our Bulang and Sons leather straps and an original yellow-gold Patek pin buckle.
