THE LOLLIPOP MAXI SUB

The last series of matte dials that Rolex used in the Submariners are known by collectors as the Maxi Dials. This watch is in really great and original condition. The case is still very strong and retains some of its original factory lines. The dial, with its stunning oversized hour plots, has taken on a gentle patina. The Mk3 is possibly the rarest version of the Maxi dials, with its signature ‘lollipop’ oversize hour markers that literally touch the outer minute markers and serif font on the depth rating. There is a small amount of tritium missing on the 2 o’clock marker, but its hardly noticeable on the wrist! The bracelet is a 93150 flip-lock in good condition. We have had the watch fully serviced by our watchmaker and we will include a Bulang and Sons strap of your choice. *
