This is a cool watch with a cool association! Elvis Presley wore a watch with the same dial type, although his was in an older model – proof that Rolex really does create timeless designs that they used for many decades! The case size is 34mm in stainless steel with a sapphire crystal and quick-set date. The dial is special – it has a porcelain-esque finish dial that is very much like its older brother, the Daytona that was also fitted with such a dial finish in some very rare early examples. The dial features painted Roman numerals on the inside of applied hour markers. The case remains strong all round. The bracelet is a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 78350, with a clasp stamped ‘W 8’ and ref 557b endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
