The 1600 is arguably the most sporty vintage Datejust, with its smooth bezel it has a different and very cool vibe.

The pie-pan dial in this example is a grey color that is superb with crisp white text , creamy colored lume and sigma markings at the bottom edge, signifying that the fat applied hour markers are in 18ct gold.
The case is in great condition with thick and even lugs.

This watch is accompanied by its punched papers that state it was sold in 1977 and also a 1977 calendar card and wallet. This DJ comes on a superb solid link Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, with 558 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘D12’. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
