Rolex Datejust 1600 White Buckley Dial

We are pleased to present this excellent example of the so-called “Buckley” dial Datejust - a watch that has been garnering increasing attention from collectors in recent years.

 

This rare reference 16000 is a superb example of a very clean watch, featuring a sturdy case, a lovely smooth bezel, and the quick-set date movement. The elegant white dial displays painted black Roman numerals, complemented by cream-colored lume on the hands and plots, giving it a magical vintage touch. The black Roman numerals are accentuated by black lacquered hands with matching lume. The solid-link Oyster bracelet, reference 78360, is in great condition, with a clasp stamped “J8” and 558 end links. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
