Rolex Datejust Steel and Gold Grey Dial ref 1601/3

This is an interesting Datejust, in that it houses a different kind of ghost dial.

The grey dial has beige text that, at some angles and different lights, disappears. This feature combined with the classic and cool two-tone case makes it a winner in our book!

The case remains in excellent condition, with a well-defined yellow gold fluted bezel.
The grey dial is in great shape with nice patina on the hour lume plots. The dial has applied hour markers, which are fatter at six and nine.
This cool DJ will come on a great and tight folded link Oyster bracelet, reference 7836, with 458b endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘DT 12’. The slow-set movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
