Rolex Datejust 1601 Steel and Rose Gold with Black Dial

We love a vintage Datejust, with its warm plexi crystal and tritium lume, and we especially love rare versions such as this steel and rose gold example ! !

The ros gold gives the watch a warm look and this is enhanced by the black pie-pan dial in lovely condition with applied rose gold markers and hands.

The lume on the dial and in the hands has taken on a cream patina. The case is nice and fat and the yellow gold bezel still has great definition. The watch is fitted with a good condition two-tone folded-link Jubilee bracelet, with reference 55 endlinks ad clasp stamped ‘E 11’. The slow-set movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
