The ‘Buckley’ dial Datejust is a cool watch that acquired its nickname after New York dealer John Buckley who collected these dials and shared them on the Vintage Rolex Forum (VRF).
The Buckley dial features painted black Roman hour markers and this 16030 is fitted with a beautiful white example with crisp black printing, complimentary black hands and fantastic creamy lume plots.
The case remains in outstanding condition, with lovely and super thick/sharps lugs, and comes with its original guarantee papers that state the watch was sold in Columbia in 1989.
The reeded bezel has great definition adding to the overall fresh look of this watch. The Jubilee bracelet, reference 62510h, is in very good condition and has reference 555 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘I 6’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
