Rolex Datejust 6605 Circular Finished Champagne Dial in 14k yellow gold

We’ve always loved the oversized Oysters from the 1950s — they’re highly collectible and serve as the precursors to modern sports watches.

 

This example is a Datejust with an early gold reeded bezel and a 14k yellow gold case (made for the US market), which remains in strong condition. The cool and unusual circular-finished dial features distinctive arrowhead hour markers and a so-called "roulette" date wheel — with even dates in red and odd dates in black — a detail we always appreciate!

 

The dial is signed "SWISS" only and has no-lume applied. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and comes on the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap — a lovely match, we must say! This Datejust has been fully serviced by our watch maker and is ready for up coming years .
