It has been a permanent fixture in the Rolex catalogue since 1945 and collectors love it for its timelessness and the vast array of dial variations that are out there. This lovely 1601 is in great condition, with a strong case and sharp fluted bezel, with well-defined reeding detail between the peaks of the bezel peaks. This watch has a great matte black so-called pie pan dial that has all its lume dots intact, which have taken on a gentle patina that matches the hand lume. The Jubilee bracelet, reference 62150h, is in very good condition with a clasp stamped ‘H/06’ and 555 end links. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
