Rolex Datejust Steel and Gold 1601 Black Dial Box and Papers

This is a lovely and complete collector-set Datejust from the mid 1970s. The 36mm case remains in outstanding condition, with a strong smooth yellow gold bezel. The matte black pie-pan dial is in great condition.

This DJ is very complete and comes with original box, punched papers (stating a 1977 sale in Amsterdam, Netherlands), booklet, 1977 calendar card, wallet and a Rolex service receipt from 1992.
The watch is fitted with a two-tone solid-link Oyster bracelet reference 78360, with 458 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘VC’, that is in excellent condition. The slow-set movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
