The Rolex Day-Date, introduced in 1956, holds an iconic place in watchmaking history as the first wristwatch to display both the date and the day of the week fully spelled out on the dial. Crafted exclusively in precious metals and often paired with the distinctive President bracelet, it quickly became associated with influential leaders and earned the nickname “The President’s Watch.”
