Rolex Day-Date 18038 Champagne Tapestry Dial

The single-quick Day Dates were introduced in 1977 and made setting the watch a lot quicker and simpler than the previous Day Dates.

This example looks so cool with its champagne dial with vertical stripes, known as a tapestry dial by collectors.
This Day Date retains a strong case and the bezel has strong definition and is fitted with an English day disc. These five-digit Day-Dates are really great as they retain the vintage proportions and style, but with a sapphire glass which makes them a very wearable watch day to day !
The yellow gold President bracelet, reference 8385, has a concealed clasp and 55 endlinks and remains in very fine condition. The bracelet will fit a wrist size of up to 18.5cm. The single quick set movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
