Rolex Day-Date 18038 Yellow Gold White Dial

A touch of Italian for summer…

The single-quick Day Dates were introduced in 1977 and are actually a little thicker than the later double-quick set watches and so have a greater presence on the wrist. This particular example has a lovely white dial with applied yellow gold hour markers and small Roman numerals in black around the chapter ring. The dial has tritium lume plots and hands are a good match.

The watch retains a strong case and bezel and is in overall beautiful condition. We always love to see these watches with Italian day discs, perfect for that dolce vita summer fun. The automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
