Rolex Day-Date 18238 Onyx Dial T Swiss T

One of the coolest things about collecting Day-Dates, is the huge variety of dials that were made for the watches over the years. Few are more desirable than the ones made from hardstone and one of our favourites is the onyx dial. Deep and rich black, the stone gives the watch a unique look and we have a very special one correctly signed T SWISS T.

An important note is that in most cases you will see these watches fitted with the service dials signed SWISS MADE, but in fact whilst the dial did not have any lume, the hands could have, and so the absolute correct examples are signed T SWISS T instead!

This makes this watch a great and correct find! The watch is a double-quickset 18238 with a strong case and well-defined bezel. The President bracelet, also in 18kt yellow gold, is also in good tight condition and has a concealed clasp. The movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
