This 18038 is a classic yellow gold single quick-set Day Date with President bracelet. This is no ordinary Day-Date however – it is fitted with its original onyx dial, a black stone used by Rolex.
It is a very “mysterious”dial- like looking into a black pool of oil! It is very rare to find an original onyx dial with the ‘T SWISS T’ markings as they are very delicate and most on the market are later service dials. The cool non-luminous hands are also present, which look amazing against the glossy black dial. The watch retains a strong case and bezel remains crisp. The day disc is in English. The President bracelet has some stretch and has a non-concealed clasp and is long in length thanks to the 21 links. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
