This is a lovely reference 1016 from 1965 with a great case with even lugs and a nice smooth bezel.
The dial is the real star of this vintage Rolex show, with a beautiful stunning orange and brown tropical colour with all the lume intact. The dial hue is like a sunset across the watch…can you tell we are in love? The lume is the correct show-glow from the era and the hands are a decent match with the dial. The watch comes with the original Oyster rivet bracelet, a reference 7206 fitted with the correct 58 endlinks with a clasp stamped ‘2 65’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
