Rolex Explorer 2 16570 Black Swiss-Only Dial

The Explorer 2, reference 16570, has been a real grower in the collector market over recent years.

This is the rarest of the 16570s due to the dial that is signed only “SWISS” at the bottom that was made for only a couple of years. The dial remains in flawless condition with white gold hour marker surrounds with luminova lume and striking white text.
Rolex collectors have a special love for a touch of red on their watches, which is present here on the 24-hour hand.
The 40mm case remains in really great condition and the fixed bezel is in superb condition, with the black paint still intact in the markers and numbers. The 78790 bracelet is in very good condition with a clasp stamped ‘X 8’ and 501b endlinks. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
