Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Gilt Dial PCG Case
We’re always happy to offer a gilt-dial GMT-Master in such beautiful condition.
The term “gilt dial” refers to the gold-colored printing — actually the exposed brass dial plate showing through the glossy black finish. This example also features the sought-after “pointed crown guard” case, an early and distinctive version of the GMT-Master with crown guards that are sharper and more triangular than the rounded style used in later models.
The dial is absolutely stunning — deep glossy black with a warm patina and evenly aged yellow lume that matches the hands perfectly, including the original small GMT hand. It’s a dial full of vintage charm and character — just the way we like it.
The 40mm stainless steel case is in excellent condition, with strong lugs, crisp pointed crown guards, and a light professional refresh that preserves its shape beautifully. The Red-backed Pepsi insert remains vibrant and clean, showing no major marks or fading.
This fine GMT comes fitted on a folded Jubilee bracelet, reference 6251H, with 55 end links and a clasp stamped 1/63 in lovely condition.
Fully serviced by our watchmaker, this early GMT-Master is running perfectly and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
Early gilt GMTs are becoming increasingly hard to find in this condition ,ready for its next chapter in your collection !
