Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Long E Zinc -Sulfide Dial

We are delighted to be offering this beautiful example of one of the most collectible matte dial GMT Masters – the ‘Long E’!

This is something of a transitional example – we know you guys love the details, as do we! The hand and dial lume is zinc sulfide, which is a carry-over from the gilt-dial era. The hour marker lume appears puffier and maintain phosphorescence when exposed to UV light, as you would see on gilt dial Subs and GMTs.
The dial has nice crisp text and the lume on the hours match the hands. The case is in great condition with thick lugs and good crown guards.

The red-back Pepsi insert has gently faded on the red side to a raspberry hue. The spring link Oyster rivet bracelet is a US-market ‘C&I’ example fitted with a clasp stamped ‘7 68’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
