For many vintage Rolex collectors, the Red Sub is seen as an important landmark in a collector’s ‘career’. The extra line of red on the dial is an important detail in the Rolex dive watch world, not just on 1680s, and it drives collectors crazy! This is a very nice example of a Mk5 Red Sub with a close to unpolished case in fantastic condition. The dial is virtually flawless with vanilla hue hour markers that match the hands. The fat font bezel insert has faded to a blue colour that looks so good on this watch. This really is a very pretty Submariner and it would be a wonderful addition to any watch collection! The solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 93150, is in good condition and has a clasp stamped ‘S8’ and reference 580 endlinks.  The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
