Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1500 rare blue horizontal brushed dial

This is a really great-looking 34mm steel Oyster Perpetual Date with perhaps our favorite shade of blue dial ever; it features a horizontal brushed finish!

This dial is only the second of its kind we have found (the other being on a Ref. 1002, though without a date).

The dial is in nice condition with crisp white text and lume plots that have turned an off-white shade. The watch features a slow-set date function. The case remains strong all around and has a smooth bezel.

The watch comes on a solid-link Oyster bracelet, reference 78350, with a clasp stamped 'AB 3' and Ref. 557 end links. The slow set movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
