After years of producing the reference 1665 with two lines of red text, Rolex transitioned to a white-text format. This particular watch features the highly sought-after “Mark 3” (MK3) dial.

 

This remarkable timepiece spent its life as a true professional instrument, worn by a Dutch commercial diver. It comes as part of an outstanding set, including the original sales papers dated 1984, presentation box, wallet, translation documents, and calendar card. The dial is in superb condition, with hour markers that have aged to a warm, creamy patina. The case remains strong, with sharp lugs and well-defined crown guards. It is fitted with its original solid-link Oyster bracelet, reference 93150, complete with a clasp stamped ‘F’ and 585 end links. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
