Rolex Seadweller Mk 1 ‘Great White’ Dial Ref 1665

We believe that the vintage reference 1665 Seadweller is one of the coolest tool watches, due to it being developed for professional divers for use in saturation diving – hence the gas escape valve. This is a lovely example of a Mk1 white writing Seadweller, known by collectors as the Great White.

The case is strong with even lugs and crown guards. The dial is in great condition with hour plots that are a light yellow colour with hands that are maybe a shade lighter, which is common with these watches. The watch has a lovely fat font bezel that has gently faded to a mid-blue hue that adds a load of amazing vintage punch to this watch. This classic Seadweller will come on a solid link Oyster bracelet reference 93150 with a clasp stamped ‘M 4’ and 585 endlinks. The movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
