Rolex Submariner Date 1680 Mk4 Red Sub Dial

The Red Sub is an important piece for vintage Rolex fans, seen as a key piece in a serious collection. However important these watches are viewed by collectors, we simply love them for that red line and cool-tool vibe that they exude. And as we have been saying, finding really great vintage is getting harder and so investing in great quality pieces makes a lot of sense in the current market !

This example has a Mk4 dial, with crisp red text and almost-yellow toned lume on the hour plots and hands. The case is strong with even lugs and the crown guards.


The bezel insert has faded to a mid-blue hue, with the original pearl that has been refilled with lume. The solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 93150, is in excellent condition and has reference 580 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘VE’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
