There are few watches as instantly recognisable and iconic as the Rolex Submariner. We love the matte dial versions with a gentle patina for a killer and versatile look. The lume tone in the hands matches the hour markers perfectly on this ‘serif’ dial. The so-called ‘serif’ dial was the second version of the matte feet-first dials and derives its name from the small lines, ‘serifs’, that flare off the corners of the rectangle hour markers at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. This example has a beautiful fat case that is one of the nicest we’ve had in a long while. The watch is accompanied by a very good condition solid link Oyster bracelet reference 93150 with 501b endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘D10’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
