The Mk2 Maxi Plot Sub

The last series of matte dials that Rolex used in the Submariners are known by collectors as the Maxi Dials. This watch is in lovely original condition with a very strong case that has benefitted from a recent clean up. This watch was buid in 1979, a great gift for some one turning 40 years of age this year ! The dial features the Mk2’s characteristic oversized hour plots which is a key feature of these matte dials. The markers and hands have taken on a rich warm patina that matches beautifully. The insert is in great condition with a pearl that matches the hands and lume plots. The bracelet is a 93150 flip-lock Oyster in good condition with the correct 580 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and we will include a strap of your choice from our webshop*.
