It is becoming increasingly rare to see Tudor ‘MN’ Submariners offered for sale. These iconic MilSubs are becoming one of the most sought after Rolex Tudor watches for both collectors of Rolex and Tudor watches as well as collectors of Military issued pieces.
Today we are able to offer two Marine Nationale Tudor MilSubs – one from 1975 and one from 1978. Both of these watches are accompanied by ledger book extracts and are beautiful examples of these rare watches.
This is a very nice MN 1978, model reference 94010. This is one of the watches from a nice batch with that special type of engraving in 1978. There is arguably no more iconic Tudor watch than the blue snowflake MN issued and this example will not disappoint! The insert has aged nicely with even fading and a warm patina that only come from many years’ exposure to the elements. As you would expect (and hope!) this watch shows signs of having been worn and has an honesty that appeals to collectors of these desirable military issue watches.
