The Vacheron Constantin 222 is so called because the venerable watchmaker launched the model in 1977 on the 222nd anniversary of the brand. Designed by Jörg Hysek, the watches have become increasingly collectible in recent times and the 222 was actually relaunched at Watches and Wonders this year.

This example has a square case in steel and gold and beautiful semi-integrated bracelet. This example has the signature Maltese cross embossed on the five o’clock lug and the classic 222 scalloped bezel in square form.

This watch was a special order for the Saudi Royal Family, as the dial has the Saudi crest on the lower half..Super rare ! It also has sigma markings at the bottom, signifying that the hour markers are made from solid 18kt gold. The case and bracelet are both in outstanding condition and would fit up to an 18.5cm wrist size. The automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
